研究概要

哺乳類の発生において、胚の子宮への着床はその後の発生に必要不可欠です。私たちは母体外で着床期の胚発生を再現し、最先端顕微鏡や生物物理手法を含む様々な手法を駆使して、着床期の胚の形態形成やパターン形成機構を明らかにしています。マウスやサルを用いながら、ヒトの誕生の本質的な理解を目指しています。

経歴

京都大学卒業後、京都大学大学院農学研究科にて博士号取得(2017年)。2017年から2021年までドイツ、ハイデルベルクにて欧州分子生物学研究所(EMBL)Takashi Hiiragi研究室でポスドク研究員。2021年に京都大学高等研究院ヒト生物学高等研究拠点(ASHBi)特定助教となり、現在に至る。
